Agaton S. Pasion Jr. is a Lecturer in the Filipino and Philippine Literature Program at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philippine Language and Literature from the same institution, having been a dedicated student since his early Filipino language courses. His research focuses on Philippine/Filipino American Studies, Cultural Studies, Critical Pedagogy, Critical Mixed Race Studies, and Education.

Agaton has an active background in informal theatre, including roles as an Assistant Director for the T-Shirt Theatre of Kalihi at W.R. Farrington High School and participation in numerous musicals at Diamond Head Theatre. He has also contributed to literary circles, serving as an Associate Editor for Katipunan Magazine and a member of Kalayaan Literary Circle.
As a faculty member, he oversees recruitment and retention efforts for the program. His work extends to community engagement through initiatives like the Kaagapay Student Support Group, which he supported as a student and now leads as staff.
