Agata Ruchlewicz-Dzianach is an Assistant Professor at the Studio of Basic Architectural Design within the Faculty of Architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. She graduated from the same institution under Professor Andrzej Pniewski. Her work focuses on the relationship between space and human perception, blending architectural design with participatory art projects. She co-founded the urban laboratory GrubyPunkt, executing projects in Spain, Germany, Poland, and Portugal. Notable works include the interactive acoustic map Miastofon, recognized in the Digital Cultures Festival's Best of Poland category (2020). Her research has been showcased at festivals like ESPACIO ENTER and POST SCREEN, and she contributes essays to architectural publications such as Architektura & Biznes and Engawa.
Education: Master's degree from the Faculty of Architecture and Design, Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk (studio of Professor Andrzej Pniewski).
Research emphasizes subjective environmental perception and participatory design, with international collaborations and digital cultural projects. Awards include city and national scholarships, alongside recognition from architectural organizations. She is an active member of the Women in Architecture network.
