Adèle Garnier

Adèle Garnier is an Associate Professor at the Department of Geography, Université Laval's Faculty of Forestry, Geography and Geomatics. She serves as Director of undergraduate geography programs and the certificate in sustainable tourism. Her research focuses on political geography, migration dynamics, and humanitarian governance, particularly examining refugee labor market participation, temporary migration policies, and technological impacts on immigration systems.

Current research trends focus on technological governance of migration, refugee resettlement, and marketization of humanitarian services, with interdisciplinary approaches bridging political science and geography.
