Adrienne Stone is the Melbourne Laureate Professor and Director of the Centre for Comparative Constitutional Studies at Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne. Her research focuses on constitutional law and theory, freedom of expression, and academic freedom across global contexts.
Research Interests: Her work examines constitutional interpretation, comparative constitutional systems, and the intersection of free speech with academic freedom. She has particular expertise in Australian constitutional law and its application in crisis situations like public health emergencies.
Publications: Her extensive publication record demonstrates consistent focus on constitutional identity development, academic freedom protections, and comparative analysis of constitutional systems across 300+ publications spanning three decades.
