Adrienne Spiegel serves as a Clinical Supervising Attorney and staff attorney with the Education Defense and Justice for Youth (EDJY) program at the East Bay Community Law Center (EBCLC), affiliated with UC Berkeley School of Law. Her work focuses on disrupting the school-to-prison pipeline through holistic legal representation for youth in school disciplinary and delinquency proceedings.

She also clerked for the Honorable Marsha Berzon on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Adrienne's expertise spans Civil Rights and Civil Liberties with specialized focus on Gender and Sexuality and Juvenile Justice. Her career demonstrates deep commitment to deconstructing sex-based stereotypes and advancing LGBTQ+ rights, including prior litigation support at the ACLU’s LGBTQ Project and board service with the New York Abortion Access Fund. As current board co-chair of the Genders & Sexualities Alliance Network, she drives systemic change for inclusive educational environments.
Through the EDJY program, she supervises clinical teams providing direct representation while mentoring law students. Her leadership in the Genders & Sexualities Alliance Network shapes national strategies for supporting gender-diverse youth in schools.
