Adriana Trias

Adriana Trias, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at Rowan University, affiliated with the Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering. Her research focuses on bridge structural evaluation using LiDAR and remote sensor technologies to improve infrastructure assessment and management. She holds a Ph.D. from Rutgers University and a B.S. from Universidad Central de Venezuela.

Research Interests: Dr. Trias specializes in applying LiDAR and sensor technologies to evaluate bridge conditions, accelerate data collection for load rating, and enhance long-term infrastructure performance analysis. Her work includes studies on green construction practices and digital engineering for sustainable infrastructure connectivity.

Grants & Labs: Dr. Trias leads the 2024 Energy-BIM-Builder Program at Rowan’s Sustainable Facilities Center, funded by NJ DMAVA. She collaborates on projects advancing autonomous bridge inspection technologies and sustainable engineering practices.
