Adriana Green is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University’s Department of African American Studies. She can be reached at ag9972@princeton.edu and is located in Office 004 Morrison Hall for the 2025-2026 term.
Her research interests center on Black feminist critique, speculative fiction, and space science history. Adriana’s book project traces Black theoretical interventions into U.S. state narratives of outer space travel from the 1957 launch of Sputnik to the present, arguing that critical Black futurity demystifies the conflation of technological advancements with social progress and challenges federal policies treating outer space and the future as pre-owned U.S. territories. Her work intersects literature, visual culture, journalism, and protest movements, offering a multidisciplinary lens on race, gender, and technological politics.
