Adriana Duta

Adriana Duta serves as a Lecturer in Quantitative Methods at the University of Edinburgh and co-leads the AQRiE Hub (Advanced Quantitative Research in Education Hub). She is actively affiliated with the University of Edinburgh's U_Inequalities research group, focusing on systemic disparities across social domains.

Her research centers on social stratification with specific emphasis on:

• Educational inequality trajectories
• Labor market access and mobility barriers
• Life course transitions in stratified societies
• Quantitative modeling of social hierarchies

She employs advanced statistical methodologies to analyze longitudinal patterns of disadvantage and opportunity structures.

As Co-Leader of the AQRiE Hub, Dr. Duta drives initiatives promoting rigorous quantitative approaches in social science research, particularly through collaborative projects with the U_Inequalities network which examines multidimensional aspects of social differentiation across institutional contexts.
