Adrian Wood is a Professor at the School of Business, Education and Law, University of Huddersfield. Previously, he held roles including Senior Lecturer, Reader, and Professor of Geographical Sciences (1985–2006) and worked at the University of Zambia as Lecturer and Senior Research Fellow (1975–1985). He has over four decades of experience in African development and environmental studies, focusing on natural resource management and wetland conservation.
