Dr. Adrian Morley is a Research Fellow at Manchester Metropolitan University, specializing in Sustainable Food Systems and Food Policy. His work focuses on strategic food policy governance, innovation in supply chains, public procurement systems, and stakeholder-led food provision models. He has advised the European Commission, UK DEFRA, and UK parliamentary bodies, and previously chaired the Good Food Greater Manchester network. His research explores intersections between food production/consumption, environmental sustainability, economic development, health, and social justice.
Key projects include the EU-funded Food Chains 4EU (2017-2022) and the Ashden Trust-funded study on regional food systems for public institutions.
