Adrian Halme

Adrian Halme is an Associate Professor of Cell Biology (Courtesy Appointment) at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. His research focuses on developmental and regenerative biology using Drosophila melanogaster as a model system. Key interests include tissue regeneration mechanisms, the intersection of regeneration and tumorigenesis, and dysregulated regeneration in diseases like asthma and inflammatory bowel disease.
