Adrian Copping is a Senior Lecturer and Head of Primary PGCE at the University of Cumbria, with over 25 years of experience in primary education. His research and teaching focus on creative thinking in primary writing pedagogy, teacher education, and curriculum design. He completed his PhD at Lancaster University in 2021, which informed his book Thinking for Primary Writing: Improving Children’s Writing Through Creative Thinking (2024).
