Adrian A. Gonzalez is an Assistant Professor of New Media Futures (Printmedia) at the School of Art + Art History, University of Florida. His practice merges interdisciplinary studio methods with Spanglish linguistic exploration, creating collage and assemblage works using drawn, printed, sculpted, and digital elements. He holds an MFA from Washington University in St. Louis (Chancellor’s Graduate Fellow) and a BFA from the University of Central Florida, with additional training at the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.
Research focuses on hybrid language systems and material experimentation. Collaborations include a decade as Master Printer at Flying Horse Editions, supporting artists like Toyin Ojih Odutola and Diana Al-Hadid. Teaching spans printmaking techniques and expanded media pedagogy at institutions including the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop and Crown Point Press.
