Dr. Adnan Fakir is an Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Sussex Business School, where he serves as Course Director for the BSc Economics program. He has established himself as a prominent researcher in development economics with a focus on health, political economy, labor, and gender issues, particularly in the context of Bangladesh and other developing countries.
His academic journey includes:
