معرفی
Prof. Dr. Admir Greljo is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Theoretical Particle Physics and Cosmology at the University of Basel's Department of Physics, within the Faculty of Science. His research focuses on high-energy collider physics, theoretical models beyond the Standard Model, and cosmological implications of particle physics. He leads a research group exploring experimental data interpretation, novel theoretical methods, and the interplay between particle physics and cosmology.
- Education:
- Bachelor's/Master's in Theoretical Physics, University of Sarajevo
- PhD in Physics, University of Ljubljana (2014)
- Academic Path:
- Postdoc, University of Zurich (2014–2017)
- Postdoc, Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz (2017–2018)
- Senior Research Fellow, CERN (2018–2020)
- Eccellenza Professorial Fellow, University of Bern (2020–2023)
Research Interests
Prof. Greljo’s work bridges theoretical frameworks and experimental data from colliders like the LHC and FCC-ee. Key areas include:
- Developing models explaining flavor hierarchies and the origin of matter generations
- Studying dark matter interactions and topological portals
- Exploring high-energy collisions for beyond Standard Model physics
Projects
Current projects include the Flavour Physics at the High Energy Frontier, focusing on flavor anomalies and precision measurements. His group collaborates with initiatives like NCCR SPIN and the Basel Quantum Center.
Labs/Teams
He leads the Greljo Research Group, part of the Department of Physics at the University of Basel, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration with experimental groups and quantum technology networks.
