Adina Schick is a Clinical Associate Professor of Applied Psychology at New York University's Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. Her research focuses on cultural variations in children’s language, literacy, and narrative development, particularly in low-income and ethnic minority populations. She emphasizes bridging home-school practices to enhance school readiness skills. Dr. Schick has collaborated on projects supporting early childhood educators across New York State and developed classroom-based oral storytelling interventions.
Education: PhD in Applied Psychology from NYU (2012).
