Dr. Adhip Rawal is an Assistant Professor in Psychology at the School of Psychology, University of Sussex. He holds a BSc from the University of Greenwich and an MSc and DPhil (PhD) from the University of Oxford, with a PGCert in Higher Education from Sussex. His research focuses on modes of self-focus, emotional processing, grief, and dreaming, emphasizing lived experience and intersubjectivity. His work bridges clinical psychology with philosophical inquiry, exploring themes like affective flourishing and existential meaning.
Key research contributions include studies on adolescent depression mechanisms, reward-processing in at-risk populations, and cognitive-behavioral interventions.
