Dr. Adenike Yesufu serves as Associate Faculty and Instructor in Sociology with over 17 years of academic experience. She concurrently works as a Counselor specializing in Families and Youth while holding ordination as Clergy within the Anglican Communion of Canada. Her institutional roles include Thesis Supervisor for CPC 695 and Course Instructor for CPC 520 (Qualitative Research Methods), alongside teaching responsibilities across multiple sociology and religion disciplines.
Her research portfolio demonstrates deep engagement with Culture and Cultural Diversity, Gender dynamics, and Religion's societal role, with specialized focus on African development contexts. As a United Nations Peace Program-aligned activist, she integrates Peace Studies with Family Studies and Counselling methodologies, creating interdisciplinary connections between Sociology of Religion, Youth, and Global Development frameworks.
