Adenike Atanda

Adenike Atanda is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy at the UNT System College of Pharmacy. She holds a BS in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a PharmD from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.

Her research focuses on chronic disease state management (e.g., diabetes and geriatric care), pharmacy education innovation, and interprofessional practice. She has published extensively on clinical pharmacy topics, including PCSK9 inhibitor consultations, billing strategies for outpatient pharmacists, and stress management in academic pharmacy settings.
