Julie A. Testman

Dr. Julie A. Testman serves as the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy. She completed her PharmD at West Virginia University School of Pharmacy (2005) and a PGY-1 Residency at Louis A. Johnson VAMC (2006).

• Pharmacist-led care transitions and lipid management services

Her recent studies focus on team-readiness, EPA implementation, and active learning retention in pharmacy education, with notable contributions to geriatric pain management and medication adherence.

Grants include the RHI Private Schools Grant (2014-RHI-7) for pipeline and recruitment initiatives in Southern West Virginia. She has also led preceptor development symposia and community outreach programs like the EPiC experience to influence high school healthcare career choices.
