Adel Daoud is a Senior Associate Professor at Linköping University's Institute for Analytical Sociology (Department of Management and Engineering) and an Affiliated Associate Professor in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence for the Social Sciences at Chalmers University of Technology. His research focuses on global poverty, political economy, and causal inference using machine learning. He leads the AI and Global Development Lab, combining AI and earth observation to study poverty dynamics in Africa.
