Adegoke Oke is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Supply Chain Management at Arizona State University (ASU), where he also holds the Hal Fearon Distinguished Fellow appointment. He teaches courses in strategic procurement, technology and innovation management, and global supply chain management. His research focuses on innovation management practices in manufacturing, services, and supply chain organizations, particularly in developing country contexts. He has published over 35 top-tier academic articles and authored the book *Practical Innovation* (2019).
Education: PhD in Operations Management (Cranfield University, UK), MBA (Cardiff Business School, UK), BEng in Civil Engineering (Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria). He previously worked as a project engineer at Shell Nigeria and held faculty roles at Cranfield School of Management (UK) before joining ASU in 2006.
Research interests include supply chain risks, global supply chain strategies, healthcare supply chains, and operational flexibility. He serves on editorial boards for journals like the *International Journal of Operations and Production Management* and advises organizations such as the Center for Applied Research & Innovation in Supply Chain – Africa (a USAID-funded initiative).
Awards include the Huizingh Award for Teaching Excellence (2016), Hal Fearon Research Fellowship (2019), and the 2007 Best Reviewer Award from the *Journal of Operations Management*. He has consulted for firms like Boeing, Chevron, and Virgin Atlantic, and advises governments and institutions in Africa and beyond.
He leads initiatives like the Frontier Economies Logistics Lab (FELL) at ASU and is a Co-Director of the Mastercard Foundation scholarship program. His work bridges academia and industry, emphasizing practical solutions for supply chain challenges in emerging markets.
