Adam Witkowski

Adam Witkowski is a Professor at the Faculty of Sculpture and Intermedia, Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Born in 1978, he graduated from the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Arts at the same institution in 2004, earned his doctorate in 2011, and habilitation from the University of Arts in Poznań in 2012.

His practice spans sound, music, painting, and installation, often collaborating with his wife, Ania Witkowska, in an artistic duo. He is active in multiple musical bands, including Nagrobki, Langfurtka, Wolność, and Woda.
