Adam Vidiksis is an Associate Professor at Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance, specializing in Music Studies. He is a composer, conductor, percussionist, and technologist known for blending historically informed performance with cutting-edge digital audio processing. Vidiksis directs the Boyer Electroacoustic Ensemble Project (BEEP), leads the Temple Composers Orchestra, and co-curates the Cybersounds concert series. He advises student organizations like conTemplum and Pitch, Please, and serves on the Composition and Percussion Performance faculty at the SPLICE Institute. His work has been recognized internationally, with performances across North America, Europe, and China.

Vidiksis's research in music technology explores real-time audio processing, gestural controllers for live digital performance, and machine improvisation. He has presented at prestigious institutions like Stanford University's CCRMA and the Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology in Zürich. His Tapbox DSP controller reached the 2012 Guthman Competition semifinals.
His accolades include awards from the Society of Composers, Inc., ASCAP, and the American Composers Forum. Vidiksis’s compositions, praised as “mesmerizing” and “magical,” are published by HoneyRock Publishing, EMPiRE, SEAMUS Records, and PARMA Licensing.
As an advisor, Vidiksis supports conTemplum (a new-music student organization) and Pitch, Please (an LGBTQIA+ a cappella advocacy group). He was a 2017 Conwell Entrepreneurial Fellow, emphasizing innovation in academic settings.
He actively contributes to academic communities through roles on the boards of the Society for Electroacoustic Music in the United States, the Society of Composers, Inc., and the Association for the Promotion of New Music in New York City.
