Adam Stoverink

Dr. Adam Stoverink is an Associate Professor of Management and Executive Director of Walton MBA Programs at the University of Arkansas' Walton College of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from Texas A&M University, an MBA from Saint Louis University, and a BSBA in Management from the University of Missouri.

Dr. Stoverink's research specializes in leadership and high-performance work teams, examining phenomena like team resilience, shared leadership, and the impact of external conformity pressure on decision-making. His work appears in journals such as Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, and Personnel Psychology, with recent focus on virtual teams and workplace resilience during crises.

He teaches leadership to graduate and executive audiences and has received numerous awards including the Wally Cordes Teaching Chair, Walton College Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award, and induction as a Teaching Fellow in the University of Arkansas Teaching Academy. His book Unbreakable: Building and Leading Resilient Teams was named the #1 team leadership book by Forbes in 2023.
