Adam Seipp is a Professor of History and Associate Dean for Graduate Studies at the College of Arts and Sciences, Texas A&M University. His work bridges Public History, War & Society, and Transatlantic Relations, with a focus on Modern Germany and Holocaust History. Dr. Seipp’s research has been supported by prestigious institutions including the German Historical Institute – Washington and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
His current projects explore the social history of the American military presence in Germany (1945–1995) and the U.S. military’s role in Holocaust liberation, emphasizing testimony and memory. His recent publications in journals like Central European History and Modern American History examine themes such as military-humanitarian collaboration, urban demobilization post-1918, and cultural representations of Cold War Germany through media like board games.
