Adam McCurdy is an Adjunct Instructor of Finance at the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BBA from Loyola University Chicago. His professional background spans wealth management, hedge fund management, and entrepreneurial ventures, with a focus on nontraditional investments such as private companies, real estate, and derivatives.
He currently teaches courses including Corporate Finance and International Financial Management. McCurdy is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) through the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. His career transitioned from wealth management to portfolio management, where he launched his own hedge fund. He maintains affiliations with professional bodies related to financial planning and academia.
