Rusty Yerkes is the Thomas J Adams Sr./AutoTec Professor of Risk Management and Insurance and an Associate Professor of Finance at Samford University's Brock School of Business. He holds the Medical Properties Trust Fellowship and is affiliated with the Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis. Dr. Yerkes specializes in financial markets, portfolio management, corporate financial analysis, and derivatives. He holds professional certifications including Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), and Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
- Education: Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Alabama, M.B.A. in Finance from Auburn University at Montgomery, B.S. in Economics & Operations Research from the U.S. Air Force Academy.
