Adam C. Martin is a Professor of Biology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and serves as Co-Undergraduate Officer. His research focuses on molecular mechanisms underlying tissue form and function, particularly in embryonic development using Drosophila melanogaster and mouse models to study tissue morphogenesis and mechanical forces. He leads the Martin Lab, which investigates how cells and tissues change shape through biophysical processes like actomyosin patterning and Rho signaling.
