معرفی
Dr. Lisa Kadlec is a Professor in the Department of Biology at Wilkes University, where she leads research in developmental genetics and cell signaling. Her office is located in the Cohen Science Center (Room 216), and she teaches key courses including Genetics, Developmental Biology, and Cellular and Molecular Biology.
Education:
- Post-doctoral Research Fellowship, Princeton University
- Ph.D., Duke University
- B.A., Haverford College
Research Focus: Dr. Kadlec investigates EGFR signaling pathways in Drosophila melanogaster, examining gene regulation during egg development and wing morphogenesis. She also participates in comparative genomics of Drosophila dot chromosomes through the Genomics Education Partnership, analyzing evolutionary changes in heterochromatic domains.
Publication Trends: Her recent work (2006–2012) consistently explores EGFR-mediated developmental processes in Drosophila, with emphasis on eggshell formation, cell migration, and morphogenetic mechanisms. Research methodologies include microarray screening, RNA interference, and comparative genome annotation.
