Adam B. Hall, PhD is an Assistant Professor at the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, Boston University, with a joint appointment in the Graduate Medical Sciences program. He serves as a primary mentor for graduate students and specializes in Anatomy & Neurobiology.

His research focuses on Forensic Chemistry and Mass Spectrometry, particularly developing innovative analytical methods like DART-MS and Differential Mobility Spectrometry for forensic identification, explosive detection, and drug metabolite quantitation. He has pioneered techniques for fire debris analysis and ignitable liquid recovery using zeolites.
Hall's publications demonstrate expertise in Chemometrics, Forensic Toxicology, and Trace Evidence Analysis. His 2018 review on DART-MS applications remains a highly cited reference in security and forensic fields.
