Achilleas Kourtellis

Dr. Achilleas Kourtellis serves as Assistant Program Director and Teaching Professor in the ITS, Traffic Operations & Safety program at the University of South Florida's College of Engineering. He holds a PhD in Transportation (2009) and has been affiliated with CUTR since 2006. His research focuses on driver behavior, traffic safety, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS). He has led projects involving pedestrian safety, connected vehicle technologies, and crash avoidance systems for trucks and transit vehicles.
