Achilleas Karadimitriou

Achilleas Karadimitriou is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Communication, Media Studies and Culture of Panteion University in Athens, Greece. He also works as a journalist/fact-checker on check4facts.gr under the National Centre for Social Research. His academic roles include adjunct lecturer positions at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Communication and New Media programs.

Education: Holds a Ph.D. in European Broadcasting Policy from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with postdoctoral research on public service media in the platform era. Undergraduate studies in Communication and Media, and a postgraduate degree in Television News and Production from Aberystwyth University, supported by an Onassis Foundation scholarship.
