Abigail Sin is an Instructor in Contextual Studies at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore. She holds a PhD from the Royal Academy of Music (supervised by Dr Briony Cox-Williams and Prof Christopher Elton) and has received the prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Scholarship. Her musical career spans performances across Europe and Asia, including engagements at Wigmore Hall (London) and the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall (Yerevan).

Research focuses on 20th-century composers like Charles Griffes, performer agency in Ravel and Kirchner’s works, and deconstructing Orientalist elements in Ravel’s 'Asie'. She co-founded the More Than Music series, noted for innovative chamber music presentations and recordings of Beethoven’s Violin Sonatas.
Award-winning pianist and chamber musician with top prizes at international competitions, including the Honens International Piano Competition quarterfinal. Artistic collaborations include masterclasses with Leon Fleisher and composers Thomas Adès, Jörg Widmann, and Brett Dean.
