Aba Sadki holds concurrent roles as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Research Fellow at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Arts, Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics. They also serve as Chargé de cours teaching GEG/ENV 3702: Gestion des ressources naturelles et de l'environnement. Affiliated with the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Migration and Integration (Metropolitan University of Toronto) and the Chaire de recherche en immigration et communautés franco-ontariennes.
Education: Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Montreal (March 2023).
Research focuses on migration dynamics, spatial planning, heritage policies, and the interplay between mobility, culture, and urban environments. Key interests include:
- Decision-making processes of skilled migrants under uncertainty
- Historical geographies of civilizations
- Spatial-temporal analysis of human-environment interactions
Affiliations include cross-disciplinary collaborations with migration research initiatives and Franco-Ontarian community studies.
