Aaron Wagner

Aaron Wagner is a Research Associate at the Institute for Computational Design and Construction (ICD) at the University of Stuttgart, focusing on robotic fabrication techniques for load-optimized timber slabs in the LCRL project.

• Education: M.Sc. in Integrative Technologies and Architectural Design Research (ITECH) with distinction; B.Sc. in Architecture and Urban Design with specialization in lightweight construction.

Research Interests: Digital fabrication, computational design, robotic construction, and self-shaping wood components, particularly explored in his thesis "HygroDesign".

Scientific Awards:

• Graduated with distinction from the M.Sc. Program in ITECH.

Teaching: Conducts design studios on reclaimed wood morphology and bi-annual KUKA-certified Basic Robot Programming workshops since 2024.
