Aaron Vincent is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, Engineering Physics and Astronomy at Queen's University. He is affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Science and holds a cross-appointment at the Arthur B. McDonald Canadian Astroparticle Physics Institute. His research focuses on astroparticle physics and cosmology, particularly dark matter interactions, neutrino astronomy, and high-energy astrophysical phenomena.
Prof. Vincent completed his PhD at McGill University (2012) and held postdoctoral positions at the University of Valencia, Durham University, and Imperial College London. He joined Queen's in 2018. His educational background includes a B.A. from Laval University and an M.Sc. from McGill.
Research interests span dark matter's impact on stars, neutrino telescopes, and cosmological implications. He teaches courses like ASTR102 (Astronomy II) and advanced graduate seminars on quantum mechanics and the early universe.
