Aaron Kidd is an Assistant Professor of Education at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. He holds a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University, an M.S. in Biology from the University of Central Oklahoma, and a B.S.Ed. in Secondary Science Education (Biology) from the University of Central Oklahoma.
His research examines teacher education methodologies, naïve student modeling in science education, and STEM curriculum development. Current projects investigate how preservice teachers address scientific misconceptions and integrate authentic research experiences.
Professor Kidd teaches science education courses focusing on pedagogical strategies for biology and physics concepts. His instructional approaches emphasize hands-on learning and critical analysis of scientific information.
