Aaron Hill

Aaron Hill is an Associate Professor of Oboe and Classical Saxophone at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he serves as Interim Director of the School of the Arts. He plays a pivotal role in the music community through performance, education, and leadership.

Research & Performance Focus: Active in expanding oboe and saxophone repertoire through commissions, premieres, and arrangements. His work spans classical, Baroque, and contemporary music, with notable collaborations in community engagement initiatives like Street Symphony. He has performed with prestigious orchestras such as the Rochester Philharmonic and Orchestra of St. Luke's, including Grammy-winning projects.

He has extensive chamber music experience with the Wingra Wind Quintet and Albemarle Ensemble, and performs on Baroque Oboe with Madison Bach Musicians.
