Goldman’s research focuses on modern European philosophical and religious thought, ethics, theories of selfhood, and methods in religious studies. His primary work examines Søren Kierkegaard’s philosophy of faith and its implications for modernity, while a secondary trajectory investigates conspiritualities (e.g., QAnon) through the lens of Western philosophy and classical religious theory. His projects include Kierkegaard, Modernity & Critique (Crafoord Foundation-funded) and collaborative efforts like At the End of the World (Riksbankens Jubileumsfond) and Beyond Truth and Lies (LMK Foundation).
Goldman contributes to the Lund University Human Rights Profile Area and explores interdisciplinary themes such as environmental/animal ethics, scientistic movements’ philosophical underpinnings, and cultural criticism via video games and science fiction.
