Aaron Brashear is a part-time Assistant Professor at The New School, where he teaches in the Parsons School of Design since 2005. He also teaches packaging production and implementation at the Fashion Institute of Technology since 2019.
- Education: BFA in Illustration and Communications Design from Pratt Institute.
His research interests include branding, graphic design, illustration, photography, typography, packaging design, and brand implementation. He brings extensive industry experience to his students, having worked with award-winning branding firms like CBX, Pearlfisher, and Diadeis/SGS & Co., as well as clients such as TULA Skincare and bareMinerals.
Brashear’s professional career spans roles as Senior Designer, Creative Director, and Partner at firms including Siegel+Gale, Lost In Brooklyn Studio, and SME Branding. His work focuses on end-to-end creative problem-solving, brand activation, and sustainable packaging design. He is also a freelance consultant for clients in CPG branding and marketing.
