Julio Martinez is a Lecturer in the Department of Design at San José State University (SJSU). He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design from SJSU (2001). His professional career includes roles at Pentagram, an international design firm, where he worked on branding, print, packaging, exhibit, and web design projects. He co-founded studio1500, a San Francisco-based design firm specializing in brand development and client collaboration, and currently serves as Diversity Chair for the AIGA San Francisco Board of Directors.
