Aaron Beasley

Aaron Beasley is a Research Fellow at the School of Medical and Health Sciences, Edith Cowan University, leading the Cancer Genomics research group within the Centre for Precision Health. His research focuses on Uveal Melanoma, Melanoma, and liquid biopsy techniques for cancer detection.

His work spans Next Generation Sequencing, circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA), and circulating tumour cells (CTCs) across Ovarian Cancer, Lung Cancer, and Melanoma. Recent publications highlight applications of Spatial Transcriptomics, Single-Cell Genomics, and T-cell Receptor (TCR) Repertoire Analysis in tumor heterogeneity and immunotherapy response prediction.

Grants include funding from the Cancer Research Trust ($1,167,284) and Spinnaker Health Research Foundation for projects on melanoma brain metastases and immunotherapy resistance. He supervises PhD students exploring TCR/HLA interactions, Tumour-Infiltrating Lymphocytes, and multi-omics approaches to cancer diagnostics.
