Aaron Almashy

Aaron Almashy serves as an Assistant Professor of Audio Production within the Media Production department at the College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), University of Cincinnati. His extensive professional background spans over three decades in the Cincinnati music industry as a guitarist, producer, and sound engineer.

Almashy's educational foundation was built at CCM, where he pursued studies in Jazz Studio Guitar and Electronic Media after moving from Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1994. His career highlights include performing with renowned local bands such as Ray’s Music Exchange and The Brian Newman Quartet, producing commercial music for major brands including P&G and Mentos, and working as a sound mixer for networks like Fox Sports and HGTV.

His primary areas of professional expertise and teaching focus include Audio Production, Music Production, Electronic Media, Jazz Guitar, and Sound Engineering. These fields reflect his dual career trajectory across live performance, studio production, and broadcast engineering.
