Aysu Karademir is a Research Assistant in the Department of Educational Programs and Instruction at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University's Faculty of Education. She holds a Master's degree in Education Programs and Instruction from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (2022) and a Bachelor's in Primary Mathematics Teaching from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (2020–2022) and Giresun University (2018–2020).
Her research explores Curriculum and Instruction, Mathematics Education, and Learning Disabilities, with specific focus areas including dyscalculia awareness, design-based research methodologies, and teacher certification programs. Her work bridges theoretical frameworks with practical educational challenges.
Karademir's publications emphasize applied educational research, particularly in mathematics pedagogy and teacher training. Her 2025 study examines dyscalculia awareness among educators, while earlier works analyze curriculum development frameworks and certification program efficacy. This consistent focus highlights her dedication to improving instructional design and addressing learning barriers.
Project Involvement:
She contributed to a TÜBİTAK 2209-A research project titled: "Determining the Misconceptions of Primary School Mathematics Teacher Candidates Regarding All the Meanings Represented by Fractions" (completed 2022), focusing on pedagogical content knowledge in mathematics.
