ALAILI Kamal is a Researcher-Lecturer at CESI Nancy Campus, affiliated with the Engineering and Numerical Tools research team. He holds a PhD from the University of Poitiers (2019) in Nanoscale Heat Transfer, a Master’s degree in Physics of Nanomaterials from Le Mans University (2016), and a degree in Renewable Energy & Materials from University Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, Fes, Morocco (2015).
His research focuses on **nanoscale heat transfer**, **energy-efficient building materials**, and **modeling of coupled heat and mass transfer**, with applications in renewable energy systems and advanced materials science. He teaches courses in Thermal Transfer, Thermodynamics, Photovoltaics, and Fluid Mechanics at the engineering school level, employing problem/project-based learning and practical workshops.
His publications (2018–2022) explore thermal conductivity of nanolayers, modulated heat conduction, and phase-change material-based thermal diodes, contributing to advancements in material characterization and energy systems. He serves as an academic advisor for CPI A2 programs and actively contributes to the Engineering and Numerical Tools team’s research initiatives.
