Dr. Ahmet Onur is an Assistant Professor at Gaziantep University, affiliated with the Faculty of Theology in the Basic Islamic Sciences department. His academic work bridges Islamic theology, Arabic linguistics, and literary analysis.

- Master’s degree in Turkish Language and Literature (2012), Aleppo University.
- Bachelor’s degree in Turkish Language and Literature (2007), Aleppo University.
His research interests focus on Quranic interpretation, modernist and classical Arabic poetry, and the intersection of Arabic and Turkish linguistics. He explores how religious texts influence literary forms, particularly in contemporary Syrian poetry, and conducts comparative studies of Arabic-Turkish morphological and lexical elements.
Dr. Onur’s publication trends include analyses of Quranic symbols in modern poetry, historical Arabic proverbs, and linguistic comparisons between Arabic and Turkish.
