Janae Sholtz is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Coordinator of Women's Gender Studies at Alvernia University, College of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences. She is a Neag Scholar and an active researcher in continental philosophy, feminist theory, and philosophy of art.

Her research explores how artistic and aesthetic practices generate new modes of thinking and contribute to social and political transformation. Her publications and current editorial projects reflect a deep engagement with contemporary French philosophy and its intersections with feminism, stoicism, and science. The trend in her recent articles shows a consistent focus on Deleuzean thought, affect, creativity, and interdisciplinary dialogue between philosophy, art, and science.
