Élodie Marion is an Associate Professor at the Department of Psychopedagogy and Andragogy, Faculty of Education, Université de Montréal. Since 2019, she has focused on educational and adaptation difficulties, bridging school environments with social services through intersectoral collaboration.
Her research expertise includes:
- School pathways and educational perseverance
- Intersectoral collaboration (schools, social services, communities)
- Educational equity in disadvantaged environments
- Socialization and inclusion of vulnerable youth
Recent publications reveal trends in residential care education, transition to adulthood for youth in care, and intersectoral policy analysis. Key sub-fields include learning careers, network analysis, individualized education plans, and reflective collaboration spaces.
She currently teaches in undergraduate and graduate programs on educational prevention, collaborative practices, and inclusive pedagogy. Her supervision includes ongoing doctoral and master's research on specialized educator practices and community intervention strategies.
