معرفی
Dr. Änne Glass is a researcher in the Department of Systems Biology and Bioinformatics within the Faculty of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at the University of Rostock, Germany. She has been actively contributing to biostatistics and bioinformatics since the 1990s, with expertise in clinical trials, gene expression analysis, and meta-analyses of preclinical studies.
She earned her Mathematics degree from the University of Rostock (1983-1988). From 1995-1998, she conducted scientific projects across the Medical Faculty and Department of Computer Science. Between 1999-2008, she established the Medical Faculty's Bioinformatics Core Facility, specializing in gene expression experiment design and analysis. Since 2009, she has focused on biostatistics, randomization, and clinical trial methodology at the Medical Faculty.
Her research spans Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, and Systems Biology, with applied work in Clinical Trials and Gene Expression Analysis. She integrates computational statistics with biomedical challenges, particularly in cardiology and oncology, as demonstrated by her publications on cardiac cell therapies and kinase inhibitors.
Recent publications reveal a strong interdisciplinary trend, combining meta-analytical approaches with molecular oncology to evaluate therapeutic mechanisms in cardiac regeneration and leukemia treatment.
As a core member of the Systems Biology and Bioinformatics department, she has driven infrastructure development through the Bioinformatics Core Facility, enabling advanced analysis of clinical and genomic data.
